True Colour Foundation, you’ve lived up to your name!
I had an absolute blast testing out the new Avon True Colour Foundation over the last 2 months and I’m extremely pleased by it.
I’ve always had an issue buying make up, especially foundation which can be quite pricey, over a printed catelog. Colours can be different to the actual product with flash and editing, but I was extremely surprised when the shade I chose, Medium Beige, was exactly what I saw in the catelog. Avon was even nice to send a shade darker and lighter too!
The foundation was lightweight, medium-full coverage, had minimal oxidization and and most importantly, LASTED ALL DAY.
The Bronzer was in theshade Warm glow and had a slight shimmer which I really did adore. While giving my skin a sun-kissed glow, it added a slight highlight too which meant that I could skip highlighting at the end of my routine.
Medium Beige, is perfect for Indian skin which has more yellow undertones. The coverage is Medium-full (I find that just one application all over my face and just a touch up on my spots leaves my skin completely flawless) and it takes very little powder to set it in place.
This foundation is perfect for a student or someone who has a small make up budget as it falls on the more affordable part of the scale. At only R154.90 it’s an absolute steal for the quality you’re getting.
I would definitely repurchase this product as it exceeds my expectations and really went over and above the quality I’d expect for a budget friendly foundation.
Go out and download the Avon Mobile app from your app store to find out where and who your nearest representative is and ask for shade samples, I promise you won’t regret it.
